Farmer's Market in Hawaii - Part 2

On Saturday, I took my first trip to the KCC Farmer's Market.  You can read all about it here, if you'd like!

Believe it or not, I didn't just eat and take photos while I was there.  I bought some great stuff, too.

Let's play a game!  I'll show you what I bought and you guess what I made using these ingredients:

Beautifully colorful little tomatoes.  What's the difference between cherry and grape tomatoes anyway?

Red, orange, yellow, and purple!

Fresh basil and chives.  Each bag was only a dollar!  They were selling full bags of fresh catnip, too.  Sorry Bagheera, maybe next time.

Finally, a butter garlic baguette.

Ok, it's time to guess!  Don't scroll any further.  Tomatoes + basil + chives + baguette = ???

I made bruschetta!  Did you guess it?  I hope you did, you're smart!  I can't really think of anything else that can be made from tomato, bread, and herbs anyway...

As you can tell, I cut the bread the "other way" so I could prepare less and eat more!  I chose not to toast it and picked out all the doughy center - I'll let you guess what I did with that :)

Who knows what I'll make after the next Farmer's Market visit!
